Canadian Real Estate Association

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is one of Canada’s largest single-industry trade associations, representing more than 109,000 REALTORS® working through some 95 real estate Boards and Associations. Mortimer Marketing Group and CREA have worked closely together on multiple projects.

Video Development For The Data Distribution Facility (DDF®)
When CREA launched their DDF program, Mortimer Marketing Group was tasked with producing a series of videos in support of the new initiative.  

Seeing the process through from beginning to end Mortimer Marketing Group’s role was extensive. Responsibilities included:

  • Identifying CREA’s needs
  • Writing RFP
  • Managing RFP process
  • Sourcing suppliers
  • Reviewing proposals
  • Meeting with suppliers
  • Make appropriate recommendations
  • Managing the hired video production company throughout the project
  • Kerry Mortimer appeared on-screen, acting as a realtor in this project
  • Writing a clear and comprehensive creative brief
  • Managing all pre-production (including finding CREA members who could provide testimonials)
  • Production (on location with film crew, on-camera),
  • Post-production (managed voice over, oversaw editing, animation, motion graphics, etc)
  • Overseeing the translation to French
  • Final delivery of files

The project was extremely well received with rave reviews from coming from the client.

Development of Bilingual eLearning Courses

Mortimer Marketing Group oversaw the Design, Development, Production aspect of Bilingual eLearning Courses which includes:

Design, Development, Production which includes:

  • Instructional Design
  • Storyboarding
  • Graphic Design and Production
  • Audio and Video Production
  • Authoring/Programming
  • Quality Assurance and Delivery

Mortimer Marketing Group also developed bilingual courses for the following programs:

  •  REALTOR Link (tool used by all real estate boards across Canada)
  • Member Mailing Lists
  • Member Management Systems
