Canadian Ski Patrol: Social Media Marketing Strategy, Graphic Design and WordPress Administration

Mortimer Marketing Group was first engaged by the Canadian Ski Patrol, a volunteer-based non profit association with 4,500 members serving over 230 ski resorts across Canada, to develop and implement a marketing strategy focused on supporting CSP objectives of member recruitment and retention as well as fundraising. The marketing plan included an audit of CSP social media activities and the development and implementation of a social media strategy.

The social media strategy has helped CSP to engage with their members and prospective members to increase their recruitment and retention efforts and with key stakeholders including donors and sponsors to increase financial support for the CSP.

CSP has enjoyed growth across social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Mortimer Marketing Group has also provided guidance and production services for video marketing on social media to aid national fundraising campaigns while also offering graphic design services that adhere to and enhance the national brand.

Since 2018, Mortimer Marketing Group has also assisted with CSP’s branding consolidation project, which has seen local zones and divisions across the country develop or relaunch their hyperlocal websites under the national website at skipatrol.ca. With the project, Mortimer Marketing has assisted in the building of and training for the administration of dozes of WordPress websites.
